These soft and warm blankets begin their journey on the other side of the world, in India as Silk Sari's, a female garment wrapped or draped around the body. When the Sari's are made, the fabric trimmings are pulled and spun back in to yarn, that yarn is then crocheted in these wonderful blankets by a Fair Trade Co-op of local Nepali women.
