These soft and warm blankets begin their journey on the other side of the world, in India as Silk Saris, a female garment wrapped or draped around the body. When the Saris are made, the fabric trimmings are pulled and spun back in to yarn, that yarn is then crocheted in these wonderful blankets by a Fair Trade Co-op of local Nepali women.
The silk is cleaned and shredded into fabric scraps, then rewoven in Karmic patterns. Each blanket is unique because the colors are always different and changing, bright yellows diving into dark blues, all while retaining warmth and comfort. |

Your blanket comes in a reusable, fair trade
sea grass basket with handles. |
